Warm Water

Water warm,
strains of the piano
meld with my mind,
flow with the shower.
Thoughts spill from my heart:
a soaking.

I vibrate with energy,
the melody becomes
like fine silky garment
well-woven in place
by sure, practiced fingers;
abnormal attire.

In the darkness, swaying,
one note leaps to another,
threads cross over, then under;
one breath leads to another,
unity of the music
and warm water.
